Mass Exodus
It's only been 2 or 3 months (that we know of anyway), but the village is no more. We saw the church bus again, along with a bread truck, and they had mattresses, etc. loaded onto them. I decided to do some snooping again and found out 2 of the tents are now gone. In one of the remaining tents were a few sleeping bags and a mattress. One bike was chained to a tree.
On the trail is now a NO TRESPASSING sign. Which leads me to 2 possible conclusions:
1) the system found these guys and forced them out
2) they themselves put the sign there and are just moving wherever for winter
At any rate, I hope they're OK during the cold weather, wherever they're going.
